Good evening Bulldog families!
What a fantastic week we had at McKenney-Harrison! We wrapped things up with our Halloween classroom celebrations and big student parade. It was wonderful to see all the creativity, excitement, and smiling faces throughout the building. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so much fun for our Bulldogs!
Congratulations to last week's Portrait of a Baron Students of the Week for demonstrating excellence in Communication! These students have shown the importance of sharing ideas, listening to others, and communicating respectfully. Please join us in congratulating Gemma Hitzeman, Maeve Lemish, Ezra Mountfield, Iker Villalobos, Moira Brown, Nemesis Speak, Adalyn Leakey, and Simon Browand! Great job, Bulldogs!
As we enter November, our Portrait of a Baron skill focus will shift to Empathy, which will remain our focus through the remainder of the semester. Empathy is the ability to understand and appreciate the feelings and perspectives of others. We look forward to recognizing students who demonstrate kindness, compassion, and consideration for those around them!
Veterans Day Breakfast
We are looking forward to honoring the veterans within our McKenney-Harrison community at our annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Tuesday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m. We moved the breakfast to Tuesday this year to avoid conflicting with our regular Wednesday late-start schedule.
If you plan to attend, please complete the RSVP form by Friday, November 6, using the link below:
