Great job this week, Bulldogs! You showed adaptability, flexibility, and growth as we navigated the heat and continued making the most of our school days. We are proud of the way our students and staff continue to rise to the challenges that come our way!
Important Office Hours Update:
To better align with the schedules of our other district elementary schools, our office hours will now be 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Please remember that our building doors will still open for students at 7:25 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and at 8:25 a.m. on Wednesdays.
As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday in observance of Labor Day. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!
Congratulations to our first round of Portrait of a Baron Students of the Week! These students went above and beyond in demonstrating our focus skill of Adaptability. Please join us in congratulating: Oliver Nixon, Oliver Crager, Khloe Howard, Aubrey Muldoon, Brielle Dale, Grace Byler, Emmie Bigelow, and Mavis Vandyke! We are so proud of these Bulldogs for demonstrating what it means to be adaptable. Keep up the great work!
Looking ahead our 5th graders will head to Camp Potawatomi on Tuesday for an exciting day of learning and adventure. Then, on Thursday, DeKalb Middle School will host a district-wide cybersecurity event featuring Rich Wistocki. We strongly encourage our families to attend if you are able. This is a great opportunity to learn more about helping our children navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
