Congratulations, Bulldogs, on reaching your 18th day of school! It’s hard to believe we are already ten percent of the way through the school year. Our students have been busy diving into reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and specials, and their hard work is showing every day. This weekend, we encourage you to ask your child about what they’re learning. Invite them to explain it to you in their own words. This not only helps strengthen their recall, but also gives them the joy of sharing their learning journey with you.

This week also marked the beginning of our school clubs, and it has been wonderful to see so many students jumping in with enthusiasm. Runner’s Club took off with excitement, and the Duesenchord’s Choir has already begun filling the school with music and joy.

We would also like to congratulate our Portrait of a Baron Students of the Week for their outstanding demonstration of the skill of Adaptability. This week’s honorees are: Meera Patel, Kylie Zimmerman, Rian Pierman, Greyson Hicks, Stella Souder, Cali Bush, Matthew Chapman, and Spencer Chriswell. We are proud of the way these students have shown resilience and flexibility as they navigate new challenges and opportunities.

Looking ahead, please remember that we will be observing the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 1st. There will be no school that day, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for a great week. 🐾
