Good evening Bulldog families!

Congratulations, Bulldogs, on completing your second full week of school! The energy in the building is outstanding, morale is high, and our students are doing an amazing job diving into learning and building strong routines.

This coming week marks the start of our fall clubs! Runner’s Club begins for our 3rd through 5th grade students and will meet every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to the Niles Walton Elementary Cross Country Race on October 7th. We’re excited to see our Bulldogs training hard and representing our school with pride!

Attendance calls have now begun. Please remember to call the school each day your child will not be attending. Consistent communication helps us ensure the safety and success of every student.

Additionally, House Enrolled Act 1002 was recently amended to allow school corporations to assess and collect reasonable fees for school supplies, supplemental materials, and field trips. Due to this change, families may now be charged for field trips that require entrance fees. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we adjust to this new change in state policy.

A huge thank-you to our car rider families for following our morning drop-off procedures by pulling forward to the nearest available cone. This simple step has had a big impact. Our drop-off line is more efficient, breakfast lines are clearing out faster, and more students are getting to class on time. We appreciate your cooperation in helping all of our morning processes run smoothly!

Congratulations to our very first Portrait of a Baron Students of the Week! These outstanding Bulldogs have been recognized for their exceptional demonstration of Adaptability-embracing change and responding to challenges with a positive attitude.

A big round of applause to Ivy Reinewald, Hadley Frane, Kinleigh Johnson, Gunner Brandenburg, Sophia Warner, Blayse Souder, and Landen Johns for setting such a wonderful example for their peers. We are proud of you!
