Student Council
MCK’s Student Council is a small group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th-graders who meet once a month. Interested students fill out an application and are selected based on leadership qualities and positive behavior. Student Council promotes communication, collaboration, and empathy. Student council hosts a cookie sale each month as a fundraiser to help cover the costs of recycling, show school appreciation, and help purchase various materials for students. They also have a food/supply drive for the Humane Shelter, a canned food drive for a local food bank, and sponsored a blood drive! MCK’s student council is always looking for ways to reach out and help within our community!
